Formby Beach
Formby Beach has got to be one of the most serene places in Merseyside / Lancashire. Today, we went on the Squirrel Walk and although we did not get to see a single one of these small woodland creatures, it was still very worth going. The autumn sun warmed our backs and the wind was kind to us whilst walking across the dunes.
If you would like to visit Formby Beach and want to avoid having to pay a hefty £4.50, I would strongly recommend you to park your car in one of the residential streets, or alternatively, to get the train to Freshfield station.
